Rabot From Hotel Chocolat | Hotel Review

Located in a spectacular rainforest setting on the paradise island of St. Lucia lies the boutique hideaway, Rabot From Hotel Chocolat. True to its name, chocolate is a common element throughout the hotel. It’s in the food, the cocktails, and the spa treatments. Rabot offers 14 modern rooms – there are only two room types: Lodges and Luxe Lodges (which are twice as large and have a private verandah and better views). Their sleek infinity pool during sunset is a must! Watching the sun slide behind the Piton mountains was such a magical moment.

I highly recommend having a meal at the hotel’s very own open-air restaurant. The chefs get their inspiration from the fresh cacao growing all around the estate, together with amazing local fish and seafood, salad leaves, vegetables, and plentiful fruit. In addition to the delicious cuisine, you get refreshing 180-degree views of the Pitons, mood-setting candlelight throughout, and a tropical soundtrack supplied by tree frogs and birds.

Rabot hotel surrounds the oldest cocoa plantation in St. Lucia – Take a tour In the “Tree to Bar” experience, you’ll learn the ins and outs of chocolate making, plus score some bars to take home

The lack of in-room air-conditioning and TVs won’t appeal to everyone, and there’s no beach – although the hotel provides free daily shuttles at set times or can be personalized for a fee to one nearby (Anse Chastanet or Sugar Beach).
